Clarity of Diamond Grillz

There are a couple of different clarity options that can be used to make diamond grillz teeth. We make our most popular and affordable diamond mouthpieces using brilliant-cut lab grown VS+ F-Color diamonds. The other higher-quality diamonds we offer are natural VVS+ stones. The clearer the diamond, the better light transfers through the stone, giving your custom diamond grillz a nicer sparkle. Lab Grown and Natural Diamonds are look the exact same and have similar chemical properties. The main difference is that lab grown diamond grillz are made using stones made by scientists in a lab, where as natural diamonds are found in diamond mines around the world. Follow in the footsteps of your favorite rapper or grillz-wearing celebrity and get clean diamonds for your grillz. Forget those fake stones and choose diamond teeth from experts who know how to maximize quality and longevity.

Shapes of Diamond Grillz

At Luxe Grillz, we use round diamonds for the majority of our diamond teeth grillz. We use a 3D CAD software to map out the gem placement on diamond tooth, allowing us to provide you with the most "flooded" look as possible.

There are, however, other diamond shapes that can be set on our gold grillz. We occasionally use princess-cut diamonds for our bridge grillz. We’ve also made iced-out teeth using baguette, heart, pear, oval, and marquise-shaped diamonds. The design opportunities are endless for diamond teeth! Please give us a call at (310) 592-9903 or send us an inquiry to start designing your one-of-a-kind set of grillz!

Order Diamond Grillz Online

If you’re looking to purchase real diamond teeth from a trustworthy manufacturer with more than 30 years of diamond and gold teeth experience, Luxe Grillz is the online store for you. We certify that all of our iced-out sets are made to the exact specifications of your order. When you order a grillz set with VS stones, we use only VS and VVS diamonds — no substituting for SI-quality diamonds to save money on our manufacturing cost!

At Luxe Grillz, we do everything we can to provide you with the best set of custom diamond grillz teeth on the market. After you order your teeth from Luxe Grillz’s online store, one of our team members will mail a mold kit to your house within 24 hours of your purchase. This mold kit comes with three sets of molding trays, a return envelope, written molding instructions, and a step-by-step molding video showing you exactly how to make a proper mold. We can also coordinate with your dentist, who can email us 3D STL scans of your teeth. We can use this scan to design your grillz and print a 3D model of your teeth.

We would like you to try on the gold version of the diamond grillz teeth to ensure that we have a great fit, so we ship you the gold piece for a fitting before setting the diamonds. You can try it on and send it back to us with any notes or concerns. Once we adjust the gold grillz, we’ll hand-set all of the stones. If you have any questions about our iced-out teeth or our molding process, please call our founder, Alex Peck, at (310) 592-9903, and he’ll gladly help you out with whatever you need.

Buy Diamond Grillz in Los Angeles

We don’t just do business online. Luxe Grillz is Los Angeles’s leading diamond grillz manufacturer. We have our grillz corporate office in downtown Los Angeles in the jewelry district. Our address is 640 S. Hill Street, Suite 557, Los Angeles, CA 90014. Visit us in person for custom molds and consultations. We pride ourselves on giving you the ideal diamond grillz experience from Los Angeles’s premier iced-out teeth manufacturer. This Los Angeles office is also the same location where we do most of our custom grillz designing and our manufacturing facility is directly across the street.

Please note that our office is sanitized on a regular basis, keeping both our staff and our clients safe in the post-pandemic world.

Expert Designers of Permanent Implants

Luxe Grillz should also be your destination for permanent diamond caps. We have been manufacturing single diamond caps for years and have perfected the process to provide you with the best-looking and fitting permanent diamond teeth money can buy. We will make each tooth individually for you, then your dentist can clean your teeth and cement the permanent diamond cap. We do NOT recommend gluing the teeth on yourself. This must be done by a licensed dentist after they make sure your teeth are healthy enough for permanent diamond teeth.

How We Make Diamond Grillz

The process we use to create grillz for our customers at Luxe Grillz is as follows:

  1. Molding: We take a mold of your teeth in our downtown Los Angeles office, or we send you a mold kit so you can follow our tutorial video and take a mold of your own teeth.
  2. Cementing: When we receive your molds, we pour liquid cement into them and make an identical cement version of your teeth.
  3. Waxing: We use our 3D Dental CAD software to design your diamond grillz order, then we load this file into a jewelry design software to add prongs and any other customizations.
  4. Casting: We put the wax in our gold casting furnace and start the casting process for your mouthpiece. This process takes about 24 hours from start to finish and pretty much substitutes the wax version of your grillz with gold.
  5. Diamond Setting: We set the stones, by hand, on the gold teeth. This process takes a a few days because we take our time strategically hand-setting each stone. It takes a very experienced and skilled diamond setter to ensure the pattern of diamonds looks good. To set each stone, every hole needs to be drilled in a very organized and tight “honeycomb” pattern.
  6. Final Finishing: After we finish hand setting each natural diamond on your custom set of diamond grillz, we make some final finishing touches on your piece. We take each set through a couple of tests to make sure there are no loose stones at risk of falling out in the future.
  7. Appraisal: We provide a guarantee of all our work with a third-party appraisal that specifies materials and value for each set of diamond grillz teeth. They also complete a quality control check on every finished piece.

What Are Diamond Grillz?

What Are Diamond Grillz?

Diamond grillz teeth are a staple of the hip-hop and fashion industries. The most popular and standard diamond grillz options use round stones set throughout the surface of the tooth, giving you a completely iced-out set.

But at Luxe Grillz, you get even more. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality products and a luxury experience. We use only the best of the best in our manufacturing process, and we work with a renowned third-party appraiser who certifies all of our finished diamond teeth.

What Are Iced-Out Teeth?

When we talk about icing out our mouthpieces, we’re talking about grillz that are completely covered with natural diamonds. At Luxe Grillz, we spare no expense when we make these diamond teeth. We typically use anywhere from 65 to 90 diamonds in each tooth that we set (depending on the size of your teeth), totaling around 1.0 diamond carats per tooth. Be careful about shopping with unreliable grillz manufacturers who are offering iced-out options at really cheap prices because it is likely that they are using fake or lab-made diamonds to cut costs. While we also offer lab-made options, you’ll always know exactly what you’re getting from our diamond grillz.

How Much Are Diamond Grillz?

How Much Are Diamond Grillz?

The price of diamond grillz varies depending on the quality, size, and amount of stones you use for your grillz. At Luxe Grillz, we use both natural diamonds and lab-made diamonds when making all of our custom diamond teeth sets to suit your budget and style preference. When considering natural diamonds for your custom set, the price will vary depending on the clarity and color of the stone. For example, VS+ G-Color diamonds start at around $675 per carat, while VVS D-Color diamonds start at around $900 per carat.

In addition to the market cost of the diamonds, we also consider the cost of setting the diamonds, making the grillz, and the cost of the gold when pricing out our products. If you’re looking for more affordable diamond grillz teeth, take a look at our sets under $2,500 here!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are real diamond grillz?

Real diamond grillz teeth are iced-out teeth sets made using natural diamonds. Natural diamonds are made by the earth’s pressure, at least 85 miles under the earth’s mantle. It takes anywhere from one to three billion years to make a natural diamond, and once it has been created in these underground conditions, it travels via molten lava to an area where it is eventually excavated and transformed into the high-quality diamonds you see used in jewelry today.

As you can tell, this naturally occurring process is impossible to replicate, making these natural diamonds very valuable.

How do you determine the price of diamond grillz?

The pricing of diamond teeth may fluctuate based on a number of factors, primarily the number of teeth in your custom mouthpiece, the diamond clarity and quality, and the number of stones being set in the total piece.

As such, an eight-tooth diamond grillz piece will be substantially more expensive than a single-tooth or triple diamond set. However, when you purchase an eight-tooth grillz, the price per tooth will likely be less than if you were to just purchase a single diamond tooth. The reason for this is that you are receiving a “bulk” order and a discounted price. Also, when you have eight diamond teeth connecting, we generally use fewer stones than eight single teeth covered with diamonds.

Additionally, there is also a fluctuation in the cost of diamond grillz teeth if you choose to have the grillz made with high-quality VS/VVS diamonds compared with low-quality diamonds or artificial lab-grown diamonds. For this reason, it’s imperative for you to shop with a reliable grillz business that offers full transparency. Otherwise, you may purchase a piece with artificial stones, thinking they’re authentic natural diamonds.

Another variant determining the price of diamond grillz is how many diamonds we use in each tooth. Some manufacturers cut corners and save money by strategically setting as few stones as possible. While these are still diamond grillz, the quality of the finished piece is nowhere near as nice as when you shop with a high-end grillz manufacturer like Luxe Grillz.

What different grillz diamond clarity options are available?

There are a couple of different clarity options that we use to make diamond grillz teeth with natural diamonds. We typically recommend diamond teeth made using brilliant-cut natural SI G-Color diamonds. The other higher-quality diamonds we offer are natural VS+ stones and natural VVS stones. Since the diamonds used to make iced-out grillz are so small (about 1.2mm in diameter), you won’t see any inclusions, so it’s not as important to use VVS-clarity diamonds.

What shapes of iced-out grillz are available?

At Luxe Grillz, we use natural round diamonds for the majority of our diamond grillz teeth because we’re trying to fit as many stones as possible onto each tooth for a flooded look. However, if you want to create something a little more unique, we do offer other diamond shapes, like princess cut, oval, and marquis cut. With these shapes, you will see a little more of the gold grillz base than with completely round diamonds.

Can I get permanent diamond teeth?

While we don’t recommend permanently glued diamond teeth for hygiene reasons, we do offer the option for our single-tooth sets. You can take your diamond caps to a dentist for gluing or do the work yourself.

How are diamond grillz made?

Making our grillz is a multi-step process that involves you, as well as some of the top experts in the dentistry and jewelry industry. First, we take a mold of your teeth at our LA office (we also send mold kits out to you if you prefer to complete this process at home). Next, we make a cement version of your molds, covering them with wax to perfectly fit the grillz base.

When we’re happy with the wax positioning, thickness, and look, we place the mold into a furnace to replace the wax with gold over the course of 24 hours. Once cast, we send the gold base to you for a final fitting. With your approval, we then hand-set each diamond into the base. Polishing and finishing touches are next before we send the set for appraisal. Within 10 days, everything is ready and we send your diamond grillz out to you for delivery.
