Permanent Grillz

Permanent Diamond Grillz & Gold Grillz

Permanent Gold and Diamond Grillz are popular among those who follow the hip hop scene and are predominantly seen in the Southern States.

What Are Permanent Cut Grillz?

When setting permanent cut grillz, a dentist must file your teeth down (similar to when someone gets veneers) and the custom grillz piece is glued to each tooth using dental cement, one tooth at a time.

At Luxe Grillz, we do not recommend getting permanent grillz and we also do not sell or offer permanent grillz.

Are Permanent Grillz Bad for Your Teeth?

Teeth, unlike fingernails, do not grow back after being chipped or shaved down. This means that you will need to rely on having veneers or permanent grillz for the rest of your life.

Also, if your permanent grillz are set improperly, your teeth will rot under the permanent gold or diamond caps and you will have tooth and gum diseases to deal with for the remainder of your life. If your dentist is being honest with you, they will likely recommend that you do not go with permanent grillz.

Luxe Grillz offers you the benefits of having permanent grillz while allowing you to remove the grillz to brush your teeth and clean the grillz at the end of each day.

Should I Get Permanent Grillz?

Permanent grillz are capable of completely replacing natural teeth. They are essentially cemented to the jawbone and work in the same way as ordinary teeth. You may chew on them and clean them as you normally would, but you will not be able to remove them from your mouth.

Usually, the visible tooth section is composed of gold, and it may be decorated with diamonds, sapphires, or other gems. Before settling on a specific model, keep in mind that there are many different kinds of permanent grillz available on the market.

Permanent grillz are not recommended because they are harmful to your teeth.

  • A dentist will grind down your teeth. They will not grow back so you’ll need grillz or veneers forever.
  • You are not able to brush your teeth with permanent grillz.
  • Under the permanent grillz, your teeth will begin to deteriorate. Check out Lil Wayne's teeth for proof. Lil' Wayne had his permanent grill (a term used to refer to gold, or platinum capped teeth) removed, which resulted in eight root canals and additional dental work being performed on him.
  • Permanent grillz are very painful and expensive to remove. Having them removed will need finding a permanent solution to fill in the spaces left by the gold teeth that were previously there.
  • This may cause irreversible damage to the underlying permanent teeth and represent a health concern if the glue is consumed.
  • Your breath will stink from not being able to brush your teeth.
  • Your grillz will get dirty and after some time they will lose their shine.

How Much Do Permanent Grillz Cost?

Grillz that are permanently installed are pricey. The cost of permanent grillz varies based on the materials you pick and the number of grillz you want. Your insurance company may potentially be able to reimburse a part of the expense. The average cost of a gold crown ranges between $1,500 and $4,000 dollars. The greater the karat you want, the more expensive it will be. Furthermore, the more permanent gold crowns you want, the more money you will have to spend on them.

The cost of your project will also be determined by your insurance coverage and the materials you choose. Generally speaking, the higher the karat value, the more expensive it will be. Grillz implants may range in price from $2,000 to $200,000+ for the complete operation, on average, according to the experts. Permanent grillz may be purchased for as low as $1,000 and can cost as much as $5,000 for a complete top and bottom front set of grillz.

Paul Wall has a set of permanent gold teeth that are worth more than $30,000. There are many options when it comes to choosing your permanent grillz but we would definitely recommend that you reconsider and go with a removable set of grillz so you do not cause irreversible damage to your teeth and gums.

“Pop Out Grillz” are the Solution

We would recommend shopping for a removable, “pop out” grillz with us at Luxe Grillz instead of buying a permanent grillz. Our grillz will fit you as if they are permanent, but will allow you to remove them at night so you can brush your teeth and clean your grillz. We also do not recommend smoking, eating, or drinking soda with your grillz in. If you have the gold or diamond grillz permanently glued to your teeth then you will not be able to keep your grillz looking brand new because you will be forced to eat with them on.

Purchasing grillz from Luxe Grillz is a simple procedure. Alternatively, if you have a busy schedule and would like to have a mold kit sent straight to your house, we can arrange for this for you.

A molding training video will be included with the mold kit, and you are welcome to Facetime with us if you have any concerns about how to use the mold kit in the meanwhile.

Our production time will be 5–6 days after we get your molds, and an additional 3–7 days will be required to set the diamonds on all diamond grillz. You may either pick up the grillz from our office or pay for shipping to have them shipped to your house after they have been completed and finished.

We can also create custom grillz to meet your specifications. If you have a design in mind, please get in touch with us; our staff will respond as soon as possible, and we will send you a form to design your custom set of removable grillz.
